Abstract
The rapid growth of digital technologies has increased the complexity and frequency of cyber
threats across organizations worldwide. This study examines emerging cyber threats, including
ransomware, phishing, supply chain attacks, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven attacks, and cloud
security vulnerabilities. It analyses the financial, operational, and reputational impacts of these
threats on businesses and critical infrastructure. The paper also explores modern cybersecurity
strategies such as Zero Trust Architecture, Cyber Threat Intelligence, AI-based threat detection,
and continuous security monitoring to strengthen organizational resilience. Furthermore, it
highlights the importance of cybersecurity governance, regulatory compliance, employee
awareness, and international collaboration in mitigating cyber risks. The study concludes by
identifying future research opportunities in AI security, quantum-resistant cryptography, and
adaptive cybersecurity frameworks to address the evolving digital threat landscape. Overall, the
findings provide valuable insights for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners seeking to
enhance cybersecurity preparedness and resilience.
