Abstract
The insurance industry is facing a drastic transformation due to interconnected and complex risks,
including cyber-attacks, climate change, pandemics, artificial intelligence, and environmental
liabilities. It is different from traditional insurance risks, as they are rapidly evolving, highly
uncertain in nature. The existing frameworks focused to address conventional insurance products
and therefore it is difficult in accommodating emerging risks. This article aims in regulating the
issues, affects emerging risk insurance and evaluates how regulatory system can develop market
resilience and policyholder protection. The recent study using analytical research based on
secondary data, there are regulatory gaps in cyber insurance, risk assessment, climate disclosures,
solvency requirements and digital innovation. The analysis recommends that international
regulatory frameworks, technology enabled, are vital for sustainable financial management. The
article recommended effective regulatory framework in managing emerging risks in future.
